Intensive Moscow's Strikes Eliminate Electricity Throughout Ukraine's Capital

Energy infrastructure targeted in the region
Ukraine's power facilities have come under increased strikes in recent weeks

During the night, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have caused blackouts in extensive areas of the capital city, the Ukrainian capital.

A number of civilians were injured while local people in the city's east were experienced blackouts and dealt with problems to water systems, as stated by municipal leaders.

Meanwhile, a seven-year-old child was killed in a separate Russian drone strike in the southeastern region in the southeastern part, as reported by local officials.

Moscow has increased strikes on electrical systems over recent weeks, while the country's government has requested "concrete actions" from international partners to apply pressure on Moscow.

"What's needed is not window dressing but strong steps - from the United States, Europe and the major economies - in providing air defence systems and enforcing restrictions," mentioned in a public message.

Authorities reported that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and several dozen rockets attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure, labeling such attacks as "strategic and deliberate" and against "critical infrastructure" as winter approaches.

Government representatives said Russia was "launching a major assault" and repair crews were working to restore power.

A series of attacks struck energy infrastructure and civilian homes in the capital.

Five out of the nine people injured in the assaults on the capital have been hospitalized, per statements from municipal representatives.

Area administrators said the city came under significant strikes overnight. A minor lost their life and multiple civilians were wounded.

The assaults come after evenings of air raids in the area, sections of which are occupied by Moscow's military.

The whole nation is in a state of readiness for hypersonic Kinzhal missile strikes, which are tougher to identify.

Authorities told reporters that Russia was purposely seeking to damage the electrical infrastructure, with assaults already disrupting gas facilities.

He said energy workers and authorities were bracing for more assaults.
